Booking Terms and Conditions
Booking
Your booking may be cancelled without refund if we do not receive any due payments including a balance payment 14 days prior to arrival date or any additional items added.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time where the information given when booking is found to be inaccurate or not verifiable by us, or if anyone in your party is in breach of our terms and conditions or rules.
You are likely to be asked for proof of ID on arrival or during your stay, if this is not available or does not verify your booking details your booking may be cancelled and you may be asked to leave and any future bookings may be cancelled.
All bookings of over 7 nights, only become valid once arrived and confirmed on site. If you wish to extend your booking whilst on site this will need to be done in advance of an extension of stay via the office and will be confirmed by e-mail to you and payments must then be made in advance to keep the space you have requested. Consecutive bookings made on line whilst on site without prior agreement may be cancelled.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking or bookings at any time, any such cancellation would have a maximum compensation or refund equal to the maximum amount of the booking or remaining part of the stay whichever is less.
All bookings are taken subject to the full agreement of these terms and also the terms and conditions laid out by the booking software company, a copy of these is available at the time of booking or prior to by contacting us directly.
Terms and conditions
A pitch will accommodate 1 x car and 1 x unit (Caravan+Awning/Motor home/Tent/Trailer tent etc.)
Maximum 6 persons total per pitch, 2 adults plus 4 which may include 2 adult children of the main party.
Tent and Caravan Pitches are to be vacated by 11.00 am. Arrival is after 12.00 Midday.
Glamping arrival is 2.45pm and departure 10.00 am, this can only be extended at the time of booking by adding an extra midday departure.
UNDER 18’s
Unaccompanied under 18’s will only be permitted by prior agreement and booking must be made by parents or guardians, if accepted we will require ALL guests parents/guardians contact details & phone numbers to be submitted with the booking.
GROUPS
We do not accept group bookings of more than 2 units except by full prior agreement. If accepted all bookings for each unit will all be deemed as individual bookings, we will not be liable for any loss claimed as a group, only as per affected individual booking. All groups must agree that they will not be noisy and no group games are allowed on site, we have close neighbors and do not allow noisy group games / play on site. Groups must state in each booking if you form part of a larger group, failure to do so may render your booking terminated with no refund at any point even if on site. Please note that we will require you to be quite at all times especially after 10-00 pm. If you are booking for others, you will be liable for their fees being paid.
We do not allocate any pitches as we like people to choose where to camp, if you are in a group we are happy if one of you arrives early for them to save a spot for others arriving on the same day. We do not guarantee any group will be able to pitch together, and during the Corona Virus outbreak groups who book do so entirely at their own risk regarding allowable group sizes at the time of their stay, we will not refund groups or parts of who are subsequently unable to stay due to group size.
We reserve the right to alter our terms and conditions & rules as required for the smooth running of the site & for the comfort of our guests.
CANCELLATIONS & ALTERATIONS
All cancellations & alterations must be in writing or via email. You may be asked for our confirmation in any dispute, so please ensure you receive and keep this safe.
We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of £20 plus VAT for any alterations, cancellations, refunds or changes to your booking, this is in addition to the non refundable deposit of 25%. Refunds will also be subject to any fee charged by our booking companies and payment providers.
•Up to 21 days prior to arrival date = Full refund on pitch fees less non refundable deposit plus admin fee as above. (shown at time of booking) per pitch.
•2-21 days prior to arrival date = Full refund your pitch fees less non refundable deposit, plus admin fee as above. (shown at time of booking) per pitch only if we are able to re-book the pitch/s.
•Less than 48 hours notice = No refund to pitch fees will be given.
•Alterations to a booking need to be made in writing at least 48 hours prior to the date of arrival and are possible only at the discretion of management. The balance of a booking cannot be reduced within 21 days prior your arrival date.
•We do not offer refunds for early departures or offer alterations during your stay.
We are not liable for expenses you incur or any refunds whatsoever in the event we are prevented from fulfilling any part of your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our control. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, flooding, natural disaster, epidemics, health risks or such similar events (“Force Majeure”).
We highly recommend that customers take out insurance against aborted holidays.
Day visitors must be booked in and names given on booking form
PITCHING
On arrival you may chose a pitch from those remaining of the type you have booked, please avoid electric hookup areas if you’ve not booked electric.
We have a “six metre rule” which means that units (excluding guy ropes) must be 6 metres apart from adjacent units.
You may park your vehicle(s) between units, provided that 3m clear space is left within the 6m gap. Vehicles on site should be parked at right angles to a slope.
PETS
Are welcome on site (Max 2 except by prior agreement) but you are responsible for the behavior of your animals. Please ensure that your animals are not allowed loose on site and are kept on a lead no longer than 2 metres.
Please exercise animals off site. You must ensure that your pets do not foul the site and you are responsible for cleaning up after them.
If it is deemed a pet is creating a nuisance or causing disturbance to others, you will be asked to remove them from site. Please note we do not allow on site any breed of dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs act 1991.
With the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed in the toilet block or other buildings.
BBQ’s FIRES, FIREPITS, STOVES ETC.
WE DO NOT ALLOW GROUND FIRES
Barbecues, Firepits and Camping Stoves are allowed but please observe the following conditions: NEVER USE ANY TYPE OF COMBUSTIBLE APPARATUS OR BBQ INSIDE A TENT, AWNING, OR CARAVAN, THE INVISIBLE CARBON MONOXIDE CAN KILL!
Be aware of ALL children and supervise any Hot item at ALL TIMES UNTIL IT IS COMPLETELY OUT AND COLD.
The burning of ANY item that may allow embers to blow in the wind or spit out hot embers is strictly forbidden please only use firelighters, & seasoned hardwood logs. DO NOT USE PAPER OR CARD FOR LIGHTING as this can be blown on the wind.
Place your apparatus carefully with the following considerations – Children, Persons, Cars, Other Units, dry vegetation, other combustible material.
Disposable barbecues:- please use slabs provided (by washing up station) & return after use.
Do not burn the grass. A charge of £10.00 min will be made for all such offences to cover the repair cost.
Please familiarise yourselves with the fire points on the central fence in the far field and by the shower block. THESE ALSO CONTAIN A HORN FOR SOUNDING THE ALARM.ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHERS ARE FOAM AND SUITABLE FOR ANY FIRE.
o To Minimise any fire risk.
o Do not Smoke in tents.
o Do not have Open Or Ground Camp Fires.
o Do not use heaters in tents.
o Use special Green BBQ bins for disposal.
o Use stoves and all naked flames carefully.
o Sand or soil is good for smothering a BBQ which has caught a light.

We are a working site, Children must be supervised at all times.
Strictly no noise after 10.30pm
Drunken, abusive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated
Vehicles
Strictly no charging of electric cars from our facilities.
Vehicle movement on Site is prohibited between 12 Midnight and 7am.
Vehicle drivers, motorcyclists and cyclists are required to adhere to the Site’s 5 mph speed limit.
We will not be responsible for any damage to or caused by motor vehicles or motor cycles or the contents of such vehicles whatsoever, drivers must ensure there vehicle is suitable for the terrain.
All cycles should have appropriate lighting if used at a time when it should be required.
Essential repairs can be carried out so that an un serviceable vehicle can leave site, however, general maintenance and servicing is not allowed.
Discretion will be shown to allow vehicle and/or unit washing, providing it can be done discreetly in an area indicated.
Drivers of vehicles, including motorcycles, must hold a full and current driving licence (and valid displayed road fund licence) in order to drive on the site.
Restrictions
Please do not put toilet wipes of any kind in to our drainage system (Even if they claim to be flush-able) as the block our drains.
For the comfort and safety of all guests the following are not permitted:
Open fires
Playing of music or media except inside an individual unit where it cannot be heard outside that unit.
Generators
Chinese lanterns/ fireworks
Motorised scooters
Commercial or converted vehicles, motorbikes (except by prior agreement)
Electric
You must ensure the mains electrical cable from the hook up point to your unit and the unit’s installation are safe. All units should be protected by a residual current device (RCD). For tent campers, this should be incorporated into a purpose made mains supply unit designed for tent camping conditions.
Heating
Due to supply restrictions we ask customers to use low wattage built in caravan heaters only. Strictly no domestic electric heating as these will cause power failure.
Deliveries & Post
You can entirely at your risk have food / takeaways delivered to site so long as you ask they do not call at the house but do call you on arrival and meet them at the gate. We do not accept any post or parcel deliveries whatsoever, please make alternative arrangements as due to the amount of junk mail as dealing with late or lost deliveries these will be returned to sender.
Security
Vehicle access to the site is usually enclosed by gates which may be closed at night 12-00 Midnight to 7-00am, if you need access overnight please advise us well in advance. Pedestrian access is always available.
The management reserve the right to open or close gates at other times and provide access arrangements they see suitable.
Disclaimers
Customers use the site entirely at their own risk. No liability whatsoever shall be attached to the management in the event of: (a) Death, injury howsoever caused, illness, inconvenience or any other misadventure. (b) Loss of or any damage to or theft of property including any motor vehicles, boats tents, and caravans. Customers are required to have their own insurance cover.
While we make every effort to ensure that your information is secure on our system, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100%
secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
